AK-PA Awarded 2023 APA Small State Operational Grant

APA has awarded AK-PA $15,500 in operational grant funding to support 85% of the executive director expenses. In the past the APA Small State Operational Grant allowed partial funding for our lobbyist but a change was made this year to only fund the executive director position. AK-PA and  is grateful for the operational grant, without APA’s continued funding, state psychological associations with small memberships like Alaska would not be able to provide professional membership support, high quality continuing education, or advocate for mental health legislation on behalf of all psychologists in the state.
