The Alaska Psychological Association (AK-PA) supports civil rights and disability protections for all Alaskans, including Alaskans applying for psychologist licensure. AK-PA’s executive board recently advocated for changes to the licensure process to better protect the rights of applicants. However, we are not involved in the lawsuit recently filed against the Board of Psychologist and Psychological Associate Examiners and cannot comment on the specific issues raised in that complaint.
